Alumni Annual Tribute Dinner 2019

Yeshiva Toras Chaim’s Annual Alumni Dinner took place on June 5, 2019 at the Manhattan Beach Jewish Center in Brooklyn, New York. The event’s honorees were Rabbi and Mrs. Shlomo Rosenberg as Parents of the Year, Rabbi & Mrs. Avraham Yitzchok Yaged as recipients of the Harbotzas Torah Award, Mr. & Mrs. Avi Heisler as Alumnus of the Year, and Mr. & Mrs. Shimon Balakhani as recipients of the Young Leadership Award.
The dinner was a truly beautiful event, as alumni and friends of the Yeshiva gathered to celebrate YTC’s remarkable success. The atmosphere was one of relaxed camaraderie and friendship, a refrain heard repeatedly by many of the attendees. The Rosh Yeshiva, Harav Kagan, shlit”a, welcomed and addressed the crowd, followed by a brief presentation about the Yeshiva and Honoree tributes. Rabbi Naftali Seidenfeld, YTC Menahel, then spoke of the tireless efforts Yeshiva has invested to create a learning environment of simchas hachaim, a necessary ingredient for the raising of bnei Torah in this generation.
